Gîte Montgaudon We look forward to welcoming you to our traditional Burgundy farmhouse perched on a hilltop, offering breathtaking views of the Morvan hills. The gîte features all modern comforts, including a living room with exposed beams, a fireplace, and original French floor tiles. Next to the living room is the main bedroom with a comfortable boxspring bed and an en-suite bathroom with toilet. From the bedroom window, you can admire the large enclosed garden and the rolling hills. There is a separate entrance to the second spacious bedroom, which also has its own bathroom and toilet. Bed linen is provided. Bath towels are not included, so please remember to bring your own! The Morvan Regional Natural Park, where our village is located, is a protected area of valleys, forests, and large lakes. Nature lovers will find plenty of opportunities for relaxation. A hiking trail starts right from the gîte and takes you through beautiful landscapes and picturesque farms. On foot or by bike, you can explore nearby Burgundy villages, famous for their lively flea markets. Gîte Montgaudon is also perfect for many activities. Set off from the gîte on mountain bike trails or climb the winding roads by road bike. In Saint-Honoré-les-Bains (5 km) and Moulins Engilbert (10 km), you will find several restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious Burgundy meal and a glass of wine. The region is full of historic towns such as Autun, Nevers, Vézelay, Dijon, and Beaune—perfect for culture enthusiasts.
